Deep tissue Massage deals with tight muscles and painful conditions. We sometimes use it to treat particular muscular-skeletal disorders and complaints. However, it is not for everyone or every condition. Experience shows us that more gentle techniques can be more beneficial in some conditions. We like to use some deep tissue techniques in our remedial massages when appropriate. Despite common belief, a deep tissue massage should never hurt. However, it may be comfortably uncomfortable.
We employ deep tissue techniques (which in most cases includes cold laser) to facilitate the release of adhesions and trigger points. Therefore increasing movement and reducing pain.
We will discuss treatment options with you to determine if deep tissue techniques are appropriate for your condition.
The tempo of all massage strokes in Deep Tissue Massage is much quicker than in relaxation massage.
