Multiple sclerosis , (MS) is an inflammatory disease in which the fatty myelin sheaths around the axons of the brain and spinal cord are damaged and nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord can no longer communicate with each other effectively.
There is no known cure for multiple sclerosis but Bowen therapy has proven to be helpful in the management of the disease.
Returning function after an attack, reducing disability and reducing emotional problems associated with the disease are the aims of Bowen therapy.
