Massage or Bowen Therapy?

What is the difference between Massage and Bowen Therapy?

There are many differences between the two , but let me outline the most obvious ones here.

Usually in massage long strokes are used in the direction of muscle fibres, whereas in Bowen Therapy short rolling moves are used across the body of muscles fibres.

The direction of the moves and the pressure vary, and in Bowen Therapy there are little pauses in between moves to give the body time to adjust, whereas in massage there usually are no pauses.

Both are very relaxing and have many benefits.

If you are unsure which treatment you should book in for, please speak to your therapist who will guide you.
